Practice 1/27 5pm @ Arcadia Park

Hey team-

While the roster is not official just yet, we're going to hold our first practice in 1 week from today on Fri 1/27 @ 5pm. The location is still the same: Arcadia Park just north of Basswood Blvd, west of 377, in the Park Glen HOA.

I'm excited to see where we'll be able to take the team this season. We had an exceptional season ending with a perfect record: 10-0! I'm still celebrating that victory. Going into A we'll have targets on our backs and we'll have to step up our game in order to compete.

Please be prepared to have your players work, and work hard. We have just an hour on Fridays with the current day light and we'll use every bit of the time. Being early is not a crime :)

Mandatory at every practice: shin guards, proper foot wear and water. While it's cold out your player may think water is an option but hydration is never to be trifled with and is essential for a healthy player and team.

See you next Fri and as always, if you have any questions, please reach out to me via e-mail, mobile (817.598.9636) and for those on FB, hit me up :)

Photographer Featured in Holiday Bazaar @ Hanson Home 11/19

Some of you have seen the professional photos of my kiddos and have inquired about the photographer. Well, he's going to be setting up shop at the holiday bazaar that my wife, Rebecca, is hosting on 11/19. Come by, check out his work and ask how you can take advantage of his services.

In the meantime, please enjoy some of his work!

Game Reminder 4/14 7:30 PM KSA - E

Just a quick reminder of tomorrow night's game: 4/14 7:30pm KSA - E. Coach Darryl has the reigns and I'm positive the girls will give the Belles a run for their money.

I also wanted to congratulate the girls on such a strong showing the last few games. Last Saturday was so intense, weather-wise, and it showed how well our ladies are able to compete in this division. The game before the coaches verified their fear of playing us and how shocked they were on our level of competition.

We're in it and hopefully you'll extend that info to your players.

Good luck tomorrow night!

Go Cheetahs!!!

'Twas the Night Before Spring Season

I don't know about you, but I'm incredibly excited to begin the season tomorrow. With 10 games ahead in  just 11 weeks, we're bound to have some exciting games and fun times as a team. We've picked up some intelligent and athletic players and it will be exciting to watch them work tomorrow.

Get a good night's rest, eat proper tomorrow and try not to over do it before our afternoon game.

See you on the pitch tomorrow!

Coach Greg

Game 3 Recap

Let me start again by saying...WOW!!! What a great fight to the end and a huge team effort in today's win.

Defense: with the exception of the two times their attack made it through, our defense was flawless. Taking good first touches when we had time, setting ourselves up for great passes, working together to overlap and clear the ball when necessary, the defense had a magical and calculated game today. There were certainly some memorable plays made by defenders that saved clear goal scoring opportunities.

Midfield: Most of our wins today came through our right wings and not all of those wins were necessarily the goals that were scored. Working in tandem with the defense, our wings were able to transition well from defense and drive our attack across the center line and into the attacking half. Our center mids did a great job of sending passes out to the wings and splitting the defensive line to our attackers. As with most games, today's battle was won in the midfield.

Attack: I'm including our wings in this category as it is evident from all 4 points that our wings played a great role in turning the game in our favor. Our strikers were always in the correct position for crosses, through passes and strikes on goal. Our wings drove the attack and capitalized on defensive errors and slower fullbacks for stupendous shots on goal.

Lastly, thanks again for all the ladies that played today, especially with just one sub. All were huffing and puffing in the end and all were overwhelmed with joy in the end. A true team victory!
